ÖRAV, was established in 2008 with the aim of supporting teachers' professional and personal development and preserving children's right to access quality education. Recognizing that teachers, who assume one of the most significant responsibilities in the development of children after their families, play a crucial role in the social and cultural transformation of societies, it is essential for them to be in a continuous state of development to be more successful in their profession. Aware of this responsibility and committed to lifelong learning, we strive to provide support to our teachers in the areas of development they need assistance with, making it our primary mission.
In line with this mission, we design education programs and develop projects to effectively utilize our resources, aiming to support teachers and education managers in their professional and personal development. Through our experience gained from the model of peer-to-peer learning and our collaboration with over 300,000 teachers from all regions of Turkey for the past 15 years, we aspire to advance the in-service training model in our country. Our goal is to contribute to the development of well-equipped educators who are proficient in the universal learning methods required by our era, enabling our children to grow as individuals with 21st-century cognitive, social, emotional, and digital skills.
Drawing from our field experience, regularly conducted needs analysis surveys, and feedback from our teachers, we continuously update our programs, identify new areas of work, and strive to keep the Foundation in a state of constant improvement.
